Description : Located just 11 km far from Narni, Amelia is placed on a very nice hill. The little town is particularly known because in its surrounding there is a very interesting archaeological site with enormous walls that are the biggest and most ancient in Italy. In fact the were built approximately during the XI Century b.C. Tourists visiting Amelia will be able to also appreciate the medieval atmosphere of its streets and the amazing landscapes of the whole area. The Youth Hostel is inside an ancient XIV Century palace with beautiful frescoes, whereas from its windows it is possible to enjoy a very fascinating view on the most ancient districts of the town.
