He contributed, with his original and self-taught painting, to the important historical-artisitc period belonging to I Carracci, Guido Reni, Domenichino, Francesco Albani, Alessandro Tiarini and to many other protagonists of classical revival of italian painting. It is not by chance that the hotel is in via Luigi Serra (he was a painter, too), in a quiet area, behind the railway station, whose streets recall the names of the distinguished mentioned artists.
