Description : Welcome to Hotel Il Guercino! The hotel takes his name from the XVII century painter G.F. Barbieri, who was called 'Il Guercino' because of his marked squint. He contributed, with his original and self-taught painting, to the important historical-artisitc period belonging to I Carracci, Guido Reni, Domenichino, Francesco Albani, Alessandro Tiarini and to many other protagonists of classical revival of italian painting. It is not by chance that the hotel is in via Luigi Serra (he was a painter, too), in a quiet area, behind the railway station, whose streets recall the names of the distinguished mentioned artists. Air-conditioned guestrooms feature bright decor with cool tiled floors and oak wood furnishings; all have wireless Internet.
